What is demo trading?

Demo trading on Bitget is a virtual trading environment that allows you to practice futures trading without using real funds. It enables users to simulate buying and selling, test trading strategies, and familiarize themselves with the platform's features. It's ideal for beginners who want to learn the ropes and experienced traders looking for a risk-free way to test new strategies.

In Bitget's demo account, users are provided with virtual funds (e.g., 50,000 USDT) to simulate trades in a live market environment. All profits and losses are virtual and do not affect your actual assets.

Which trading pairs are supported in demo trading?

USDT-M futures demo trading pairs include:

How to use demo trading?

Here's how to access demo trading on both the Bitget app and website:

On the Bitget app

Step 1: Download and log in to the Bitget app

Search for "Bitget" on the App Store or Google Play. Download and install the app. Log in with your existing account.

Step 2: Enter demo trading mode

On the home screen, tap the Futures tab. Then, tap the "..." icon in the top right corner and select Demo Trading. Your demo account will be automatically credited with virtual funds.

Step 3: Choose a pair and start trading

From the demo interface, select your desired trading pair (e.g., SBTCUSDT), set your leverage, choose your position direction (long/short), and enter the quantity. Confirm to place the order and start simulating real trading.

On the Bitget website

Step 1: Visit the Bitget website and log in

Visit the Bitget website and log in.

Step 2: Switch to demo trading

In the top navigation bar, hover over Futures and click Demo Trading. You'll be taken to the demo environment, and your virtual balance will be displayed automatically.

Step 3: Start trading

Choose your trading pair, set leverage, select your order type (market or limit), and enter the quantity. Click Open Long or Open Short button to place the order.

Notes

• Demo trading uses virtual funds that cannot be withdrawn or transferred to your live account.

• Demo accounts are available to all users by default — no manual activation needed.

• Market data mirrors real-time conditions, though minor delays may occur due to network latency.

• Once you're confident using demo mode, consider switching to live trading to start investing for real on Bitget Futures.
