Bitlayer announces partnership with Sui to jointly achieve BitVM Bridge ecosystem deployment and integration
The project Bitlayer, based on the implementation of BitVM technology within the Bitcoin ecosystem, has announced a partnership with the high-performance public chain Sui. Together, they will deploy the trust-minimized BTC bridge solution, BitVM Bridge, and promote the integration and adoption of BitVM Bridge's core component, Peg-BTC (YBTC), within the Sui ecosystem.
With the launch of Peg-BTC (YBTC), users will be able to explore diverse DeFi scenarios such as exchange, lending, and staking for yield on the Sui network. This collaboration also marks a significant advancement in the multi-chain ecosystem layout of BitVM Bridge. As the first BTCFi infrastructure built on BitVM, BitVM Bridge has now established partnerships with seven mainstream public chains and protocols, including Sui, Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Sonic, Plume Network, and Sundial, and plans to expand to more ecosystems in the future. According to official sources, BitVM Bridge has entered the final testing phase and is expected to launch on the mainnet soon.
